Why we love Llandudno

Posted in Blog

We can't wait to make Llandudno our home in August. One of our young people, Sioned, feels the same, and has written this terrific poem about it.

Why we love Llandudno

Llandudno, by Sioned Young.  A little poem about somewhere with a big place in my heart.

You’ll see the sea simply crashing away,
At a glance there’ll be children busy at play.

Behind you, traffic slowly pushing along,
Above you, seagulls singing their song.

Maybe you’ve stopped just to take it all in,
The seaside, the nature, an overflowing bin.

Watch walkers like yourself slowly going ahead,
Or turn on their heel and get some ice cream instead.

Lost tourists trample searching for an attraction,
Others walk whimsically, no certain destination.

Too busy or too loud, is there really such a thing?
Cause to be honest, Llandudno is just to my liking.
