The biggest youth arts festival in Wales is back and is in the early planning stages for 2019!

We are currently looking for young people (16-25) from across Wales to get involved in planning the festival. If you are interested in being part of the team that helps shape RawFfest 2019 then please see the get involved page to find out more.

FAQs 

What age do I have to be?  

14 – 25 years on the 1st September 2018. i.e. born between 1.9.1992 and 1.9.2004, you will need to be a minimum of 16 years old to be involved in the planning groups.  

Do I have to be Welsh?  

No.  Any young person aged 14 – 25 years is welcome at the festival 

Do I have to live in Wales?  

No, this festival is not just for young people who live in Wales. 

Do I have to be good at art or performance?  

You don’t have to be “arty” to enjoy RawFfest. There will be things at this festival for young people at every stage of skill and ability. We welcome young people who are interested in organising events, stage management, marketing etc. 

Do I have to pay?  

Some activities will be free of charge, some will be ticketed. We will have some reduced price tickets and free places. Detail of the ticketing policy will be decided by the youth planning group and announced nearer the time.

What are the dates and times of the 2019 festival? 

Thursday evening, 25 April to Sunday afternoon, 28 April 2019.

Where is the festival?  

Based at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff.
